Albert was born at Ashwell, Hertfordshire on 31st May 1880, the second son of Albert William and Eliza Madeline (nee Harbord) Chote. He was a pupil at the Merchant Taylors School in Ashwell. Albert was an elementary schoolmaster and worked in Walthamstow, East London firstly at Marsh Street School from 1902 to 1911, William Morris School from 1911 to 1929 and then Pretoria Avenue Boys School from 1929.
Albert's Father was the Head of the Merchant Taylors School in Ashwell for many years.
Albert married Louisa Elizabeth Muldoon on 23rd December 1920 but she died in 3rd quarter 1945. It is not known if they had children. Albert then married Clara Shirley Lowick in 1st quarter 1947. It is not known if they had children.
Albert died at Runwell Hospital, Runwell, Essex on 24th November 1954.
Albert’s brother Algernon served on the Western Front during the War and survived but he was killed in a road traffic accident on 15th September 1920.
