30 October 1995  – 2015 – Jeet  Dahdra, Letchworth.

Jeet purchased Ashwell Stores leasehold from Jaskarn and Gurdial Gill.  Jaskarn and Gurdial remained in the flat over the corner shop leasing the shop out as an Indian takeaway, The Star of India.  The Gill family moved away in 2010.

Monday                                 8 am – 6.30 pm
Tuesday                                8 am – 6.30 pm
Wednesday                           8 am – 7.30 pm
Thursday                               8 am – 6.30 pm
Friday                                    8 am – 6.30 pm
Saturday                                8 am – 7.30 pm
Sunday                                  9 am – 4.00 pm

The shop is currently open 364 days a year only closed on Christmas Day – how things have changed in 20 years an increase of 30 hours per week plus Bank Holidays!
