For a few years in the 1920's, Tart Geeves ran a small fruit and confectionery shop from his front room.
Olive Anderson tells me that the Andersons moved in late 1926 or early 1927 and they have lived there ever since. Tart Geeves also had a coal round and kept the pony for his cart in the back garden and the coal in the pantry inside. Over the back door Olive has a shoe from the pony; and there is still a hook on the front door where the shop sign hung.
